Quartz Powder

One of the most abundant minerals on earth, Quartz is reputed for its durability. Being resistant to chemical and mechanical weathering, Quartz powder is widely used for several purposes. Quartz is used as an abrasive, as foundry sand, in glass making, in petroleum industry and for many other purposes.

Quartz is the second most abundant mineral in the Earth's continental crust, after feldspar. It is made up of a continuous framework of SiO4 silicon-oxygen tetrahedral, with each oxygen being shared between two tetrahedral, giving an overall formula SiO2. Milky quartz crystals can have a waxy instead of vitreous luster and even be dull. Minor impurities such as lithium, sodium, potassium and titanium may be present. The major use of white quartz are used in many fine ornamental carvings as well as in more affordable jewellery, ceramic tiles industry, glass industry, steel/ferroalloy, abrasive industry. Now-a-day, quartz is mostly used in glass industries.

We manufacture, supply and export a wide range of Quartz Powder. These are processed using standard raw materials, which is sourced from trusted vendors. We bring optimum Quartz silica powder forwards to be sufficient for furious necessities of clients. These are appreciated for the features like optimum utility, reliability and durability.
